JESSICA JONES: Read the Prequel Comic to the Netflix Series for Free!
MARVEL has gifted JESSICA JONES fans with a free prequel comic ahead of the show’s release on Netflix.
Want to know what happens before Jessica tries to rebuild her life after her failed and traumatic superhero days? Marvel has the answer. The comic was written by the creative team behind ALIAS, the comic that provided inspiration for the upcoming Netflix series. In fact, in a new preview for the series we see Jessica heading to work at Alias Investigations (see below).
Read the comic over at Comixology and don’t miss the release of JESSICA JONES on Netflix on November 20.
Time to go to work. #JessicaJones https://t.co/XwZ7y3uwUM

JESSICA JONES: Netflix Shows Off One of Jessica’s Powers in New Preview
Following in the footsteps of a generic preview and some photos, Netflix has released the first real preview for JESSICA JONES, their newest Marvel series. DAREDEVIL (released a few months ago) was part 1 of Marvel’s Netflix plans, with JESSICA JONES acting as part 2 and LUKE CAGE (the next series on the roster) to act as part 3. Once all three series have aired their first seasons we’ll see the main characters and others from each show converge for DEFENDERS, a mini-crossover series starring Jessica, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Daredevil.
In a new preview for JESSICA JONES we start to get a sense of the heroine’s powers — super strength, in this case. Krysten Ritter stars as the failed-superhero-turned-detective and Mike Colter, David Tennant, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Will Traval round out the cast.
JESSICA JONES will debut on Netflix on November 20.
JESSICA JONES: Netflix Releases Photos for the New Marvel Series
Following the success of Netflix’s DAREDEVIL is JESSICA JONES, the newest Marvel series coming to the streaming service. The show stars Krysten Ritter as a failed superhero-turned-detective in New York City.
JESSICA JONES is the second of four Marvel series coming to Netflix. LUKE CAGE and IRON FIST will both follow, culminating in the teaming up of the main characters in the miniseries THE DEFENDERS. Mike Colter — who can be seen in the photos below — is starring as Luke Cage and will be going on to his own series after this one. The cast also includes David Tennant, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval.
JESSICA JONES will be streaming on Netflix as of November 20.
