So this is a night-and-day situation for you. Before on LIFE UNEXPECTED, your character had a calm reality with normal life and this time on BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, your character has a heightened-reality where he must face life-and-death stakes everyday.
AUSTIN: Yeah, I cite the difference in that in normal everyday life you and me don’t have to go through our lives having to deal with stuff like this, so the normal highs and lows become high drama. But when you have an external force pushing you into a situation where you’re really just reacting to the fact that it becomes life-and-death, you don’t have to create any of the drama. The drama and the conflict is built in and forces your character into action. [Read more…]

Snappy Answers to Silly Questions with REVOLUTION Stars Billy Burke and Tracy Spiridakos
In an effort to help fellow REVOLUTION addicts get over the fact that they will have to wait until Monday October 29th for the hit NBC show’s next new episode as a result of tonight’s third and final Presidential debate, we thought fans might enjoy this exclusive one-on-one with stars Billy Burke and Tracy Spiridakos. And while Burke and Spiridakos — who were in Toronto at the start of the Fall season to promote REVOLUTION’s premiere on CityTV in Canada — were not surprisingly tight-lipped when it came to what the future holds for their characters of uncle Miles and niece Charlie Matheson respectively, they more than made up for their total and utter lack of spoilers with — as the title of this post suggests — some snappy answers to our silly questions. See for yourself, after the jump. [Read more…]

Jay Ryan Dishes on the Danger of the Beast in His new CW Series BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Last week introduced viewers to the murky world of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, a world where Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan) hides in the shadows, trying to keep the beast in side him at bay. But in a twist of fate, a young woman he had rescued years before came back into his life in such a way that he could no longer hide from the outside world. Detective Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk) may not have intended to unearth the one person who may hold the key to her mother’s unsolved murder, but recognizing Vincent from that fateful day, she could not stay away. Alas, this only tipped off a government organization that had been searching for Vincent and now they are both caught in the crosshairs as Muirfield circles closer and closer.
In an exclusive interview, star Jay Ryan took a few moments to share the inner turmoil that Vincent struggles with and what kind of threat the beast within still poses to everyone around him. [Read more…]

REVENGE! HOMELAND! Y&R! PARENTHOOD! THE CW! SONS OF ANARCHY! The TV Addict Week in Rewind
Craziest Didn’t-See-That-Coming: Unlike most shows which have an unfortunate habit of stringing viewers along until the the end of a season to drop a bombshell of such magnitude, HOMELAND didn’t waste anytime by revealing [spoiler alert] to Saul in… wait for it… episode two!
Sudsiest Engagement: In a twist right off of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, a promo for THE HOUSTONS confirms that Bobbie Kristina is engaged to her adopted brother, Nick Gordon. ??Worst Timing: Eric Stoltz booked a gig on MADE IN JERSEY… which, surprising nobody, became the first new show of the fall season to be axed.
Best Case for a Renewal: Dismal ratings for The CW’s pricey Monday night combo of 90210 and GOSSIP GIRL barely outdrew the little-promoted-and-did-we-mention-far-more-affordable summer season that was THE L.A. COMPLEX!
Best Taunt: “Hit me,” said REVENGE’s Victoria to estranged hubby Conrad. “This is your one and only shot, so do it like a man, if that’s even possible.” Needless to say, he rose to the challenge. [Read more…]
