Only two new scripted series are coming to ABC next season. The first is a thriller series called BIG SKY, from David E. Kelley, starring Katheryn Winnick. The series centers around two private detectives who join forces with one of the detective’s estranged wife to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck drive on a remote highway. Of course, they soon discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area.
In addition, the network has picked up one comedy series, CALL YOUR MOTHER, which stars Kyra Sedgwick as an empty nester mother who wonders how she ended up alone while her children live thousands of miles away.
