Fans have been eagerly awaiting the first real previews for THE X-FILES revival series, which is set to debut in January. The premiere will air at New York Comic-Con on October 10, but if you aren’t attending then you can at least enjoy the two-part preview below, which aired Monday night during new episodes of GOTHAM and MINORITY REPORT.
In the preview that originally aired on Monday night, we heard Mulder discuss the fact that his investigation into the paranormal may have ended in 2002 (when the show first ended), but his personal obsession didn’t stop. But in order to revive his investigation he’s going to need help….from Dana Scully. And in the official full-length trailer below (released on Tuesday), we get a sense of the vast government cover-up involving aliens.
THE X-FILES will return January 24, 2016 on Fox.
