Recurring guest star, Don Lake, returns to NCIS tonight as Gibbs’s friend, Navy Captain Phillip Brooks. Last seen in 2018, Lake and Joe Spano (as Tobias Fornell) interrupted Gibbs’s (Mark Harmon) vacation in a cabin in the woods.
In the Valentine’s Day spirit this week, Captain Brooks is retired and has a new woman in his life whom he met on a dating site a few weeks ago. There is just one hitch in the romance department…she is the lead suspect in an NCIS murder investigation. While on the subject of romance, is the “thing/non-thing” between Sloane (Maria Bello) and Gibbs growing? Maybe. When she gets flowers and candy from a secret admirer, the team definitely wants to know details, especially after that kiss on the cheek.
Will all this emphasis on hearts and flowers inspire the growing “bond” between Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) now that he is out of hospital?
Guest cast on tonight’s episode, “Lonely Hearts,” also includes Daphne Zuniga (MELROSE PLACE, ONE TREE HILL), Andy Comeau, Brynn Thayer (MATLOCK, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Emmy nominee), Brian Ames, Desi Dennis-Dylan, Caroline Whitney Smith and Bryce McBratnie. “Lonely Hearts” was written by Brendan Fehily and directed by Tawnia McKiernan.
NCIS airs tonight (February 11) at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS in the U.S. and on Global TV in Canada.
