STRANGER THINGS has been officially renewed for a fourth season on Netflix, the streaming service announced today. It’s been more than two months since the third season dropped, but you may recall that it ended with the Byers family leaving Hawkins, along with Eleven, and the supposed death of everyone’s favourite Sheriff (except there’s been a hint that he may have been captured and is still alive). A teaser trailer for the fourth season, which can be seen below, seems to hint that the Upside Down may play a bigger role next season.
There’s no word yet on a release date yet for season 4, but stay tuned for more information. Netflix also signed the show’s creators, Matt and Russ Duffer (aka The Duffer Brothers) to a multi-year film and series overall deal.
