Netflix has finally announced the upcoming third season premiere date of its critically acclaimed series THE CROWN: November 17. After two seasons of watching Claire Foy in the role of Queen Elizabeth II, Olivia Colman will be taking over as the monarch as the third season focuses on the time period between 1964 and 1977. Other roles have been recast as the players in this drama age up, with Tobias Menzies appearing as Prince Phillip Helena Bonham Carter taking over as Princess Margaret.
The streaming service also released a short preview, introducing Coleman as the Queen, as well as several photos from the upcoming season.
