FILTHY RICH centers on The Monreauxes, an incredibly wealthy Southern family who created a wildly successful Christian TV network. Now ready to launch a digital retail arm of the company, the family’s patriarch, Eugene, dies in a plane crash (or so we’re led to believe). His wife, Margaret, is left to take charge of the family business. Then there’s Monreaux children: Eric, the ambitious son who believes he’ll run the show now, and Rose, a budding fashion designer who is always trying to get out of the shadow cast by her mother. But the Monreaux family is shocked to learn that Eugene fathered three illigitimate children, all of whom are mentioned in his will. There’s Ginger (the daughter of a Vegas cocktail waitress who has an axe to grind), Antonio (a single father from Queens) and Jason.
