Archie Andrews will stand trail when season 3 of RIVERDALE begins. Thanks to Hiram Lodge, the teen was arrested for murder at the end of the second season and Penelope Ann Miller is joining the cast as District Attorney Ms. Wright, who will be prosecuting Archie. On his side of the courtroom, Archie has his mother and former mayor Sierra McCoy defending him. Elsewhere in the season premiere photos, we see Betty, Jughead and Veronica joining Archie at the lake, where the group is enjoying the last few days of summer and trying to forget their problems. The only good news here is that both relationships look to be going strong.
RIVERDALE returns for its third season on October 10 on The CW.
