Lil Rel Howery (GET OUT) stars in REL, a new Fox comedy based on his life. Rel is a loving husband and father when we first meet him, living on the West Side of Chicago. But all of that changes when he learns that his wife is having an affair — with his barber, no less. And with his barbershop being *the* place for neighborhood gossip, it’s hard for Rel to escape the embarassment that has become his life. He’s got his support network, but all of these people are spending time butting heads in between offering him advice. There’s his best friend Brittany, his recently-out-of-jail younger brother Nat, and Rel’s prideful father. When Rel’s children move to Cleveland with their mother, Rel tries to rebuild his life as a long-distance father — and continues his search for a new barber.
