We have just a few episodes of the latest season of THE X-FILES under our belts, but there’s more to go and now Fox has released an extended trailer for what’s to come in the rest of the season. As we saw in the premiere, William is playing a huge role in the upcoming episodes, even if it takes us a while to see him.
While the January 24 episode is going to be a funny one, the January 31 episode is shaping up to be a serious episode that delves into mythology: “When a pair of teenage girls attack one another, each believing the other to be a monster, Mulder and Scully find that their investigation could possibly lead back to their long-lost son, William”.
After that, the synopses for the upcoming episodes — as well as the trailer below — show us that an early February episode is going to be taking us into Skinner’s past and will pit him against Mulder and Scully once again. Given the secrets from them we know he’s hiding, how will the trio’s relationship play out in the upcoming episodes? One memorable guest star for an upcoming episode also includes THE SIXTH SENSE’s Haley Joel Osment.
And how long until Mulder and Scully learn about the bombshell that C-Man revealed in the season premiere: that he is actually William’s father?
