After all the drama that NCIS: NEW ORLEANS went through last year, the team’s New Year’s resolution should have been to leave the stress and the past behind.
Unfortunately, someone did not get the memo.
Called to the scene of an armed robbery, Pride (Scott Bakula) finds NOPD Captain Carl Estes (returning guest star Matt Servitto, THE SOPRANOS) covered in blood.
Shaken with a touch of PTSD, Estes tells Dwayne that his officers have been shot with assault weapons during a high-speed chase following the robbery, and that one of the perpetrators is a former sailor.
After NCIS: NEW ORLEANS joins the investigation, evidence shows that the case is connected to an undercover ATF operation, and Percy (Shalita Grant) reconnects with her former ATF partner, Jake Roman (guest star L. Steven Taylor).
With their on/off relationship in flux, does Jake’s reappearance signal the end of Sonya and Lasalle (Lucas Black). Or will PerSalle end with Sonya on the wrong end of a gun barrel.
Other guest stars on tonight’s episode, “Monster,” are Dylan Kenin, Amy Rutberg, Kate Abbruzzese, Havilah Malone, Ele Bardha and Oliver Keller. “Monster” was written by Christopher Silber and directed by Rob Greenlea.
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs tonight (January 2) at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS in the U.S. and on Global TV in Canada.
