Based on the podcast “Start Up”, ALEX, INC is centered around Alex Schuman, a brilliant radio journalist, husband and father of two. After working on the same radio show for 16 years he’s ready to plunge into the great unknown. He quits and starts up a podcast company so that he can tell the stories that he believes in.
Understandably, his wife, Noush, is not happy about him giving up his income, but she decides to support Alex. Still, she questions his ability to raise money and manage a small business. So he assembles a team to help round out his skills: radio producer, Deirdre Riordan, who’s only a little bit in love with him; and his best friend from high school, fast-talking salesman Eddie Ramirez. But after Alex fails at finding funding for his new business, it’s his kids who help give him the confidence to fight for his dream.

ALEX, INC stars Zach Braff, Tiya Sircar, Hillary Anne Matthews, Michael Imperioli, Elisha Henig and Audyssie James. Braf and Matt Tarses (SCRUBS) serve as executive producers.
