The production team behind HOMELAND is tackling slightly different ground in THE BRAVE, NBC’s new military series. While HOMELAND focuses primarily on the CIA,THE BRAVE splits its focus between two different — but equally important — groups within the national security field. The first group is headed by D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Anne Heche) and her team of analysts, who help manage crises back home in D.C. The second group is Adam Dalton and his Special Ops squad of highly trained undercover specialists who operate in the most dangerous parts of the world.
When an American doctor goes missing in Syria, Adam Dalton and his squad are called in to help retrieve her. Back stateside, Campbell and her team are able to use their technical know-how to help shape the narrative of the doctor’s plight and assist the Special Ops team.
