NCIS NEW ORLEANS Sneak Peek: Chemistry Set

Tonight’s NCIS: NEW ORLEANS is all about the chemistry.

Of course, the man with enough chemistry to fill 100 chem labs, Dwayne Pride (as well as his alter ego, Scott Bakula), gets to strut his appeal as he charms the sole witness to a crime into helping the NOLA team.

When 9-year-old Dustin Matthews (Zailand Adams) is the only witness to the murder of his aunt, Heather Cobb (guest star Kanesha Washington), Pride gains temporary custody of the boy, citing the young man’s role in the investigation.

Dustin, whose mother is in the service and stationed in Japan and father is deceased, was living with his aunt, when the petty officer and member of the prestigious United States Navy Band is murdered.

Pride rescues Dustin, also a musician, from hiding and fills him with enough NOLA culinary wonders to gain the young man’s trust.

Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito), also fond of Pride’s kitchen wizardry, bemoans the fact that there will be no tasty delights awaiting her when she returns to the FBI office in Washington, DC. With the FBI investigation coming to an end, Gregorio and Isler (guest star Derek Webster) expect to be leaving the Big Easy soon.

More chemistry abounds when Percy (Shalita Grant) accidentally barges into the new family situation created when Melody (GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Brianna Brown) showed up to introduce Lasalle (Lucas Black) to his supposed baby son. Percy looks giddy when she realizes that Lasalle has got some major ‘splainin’ to do.

New Orleans music, New Orleans cuisine and a lot of charm coupled with Bakula’s piano skills, should make tonight’s episode, “Music to My Ears,” a treat for the holiday season.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS also stars Rob Kerkovich, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell and CCH Pounder.

“Music to My Ears” guest stars Julian Acosta, Joshua Bitton, Michael Daniel Cassady, Judd Lormand, Jasmine Johnson, Erica Michelle, Augusta Black, Danny Hogan, Michelle Phares and Donald M. Krause. Tonight’s NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was written by Kate Sargeant Curtis and directed by Michael Zinberg.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs tonight (December 6) at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
