THE BIG BANG THEORY revives some past issues after stirring up all the funniness of Howard and Bernadette’s pregnancy and Sheldon and Amy’s cohabitation.
A couple of weeks ago, we saw Bert the geologist throw a party, with Penny and Amy as his only guests. Then Sheldon surprised Amy with an impromptu brunch featuring Bert as one of the surprise guests. This week, Bert gets to surprise Sheldon when he wins the MacArthur Genius fellowship, throwing Sheldon into a fit of jealousy. Nothing gets Sheldon’s goat like someone else being recognized for being brilliant!
Stephen Hawking has made a few guest appearances on THE BIG BANG THEORY, both live and by voice. This week, the world-renown cosmologist returns once again as himself when Howard runs into an old remote-controlled action figure of Hawking that he once invented. Must be something to this inventing thing for Howard.
And who knows what other nuttiness will surface in this week! Will Raj still be uncomfortable about dating the cleaning lady as he was last week?
