Chicago’s greatest firefighting squad is back tonight and the heart-pounding rescues and personal drama are coming right along with the premiere of CHICAGO FIRE.
In the sneak peek below we get to see Dawson dealing with the new ramifications of being a foster mom. Of course, she’s not completely alone because she has the help of Matt and the rest of the squad. In this clip even Herman and his wife lend a hand by apparently offering to babysit little Louis.
In between a school bus crash leaving two young boys trapped inside — one with a piece of metal skewered through his shoulder — the team also has plenty of drama to keep them busy. Severide and Stella deal with the fact that her ex broke into her apartment after checking himself out of the hospital, and the subsequent police action that might need to be taken despite her insistence that he is just a harmless junkie musician. There’s also a bit of sex appeal. Sylvie reads aloud some sort of over-played romantic smut piece, where all the characters eerily resemble the members of the 51. Through the dramatic reading a vital piece of house gossip might accidentally be revealed.
