THE CASE OF: JONBENÉT RAMSEY Preview: Revisiting the Case 20 Years Later

Twenty years ago, the case of JonBenét Ramsey fascinated North America. The six year old girl (who competed in many children’s beauty pageants) disappeared from her parents’ home the day after Christmas. Her parents frantically called the police to report that their daughter had been kidnapped and a ransom note had been left behind. But eight hours later her body was found in the basement of the family home. Both of her parents were suspects in the case, but it has never been solved.

Now CBS has reunited some of the original investigators of the case — including former New York City prosecutor, retired FBI supervisory special agent and profiler Jim Clemente; world-renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee; former chief investigator for the District Attorney in Boulder, Colo., James Kolar; leading forensic pathologist Dr. Werner Spitz; and retired FBI supervisory special agent and forensic linguistic profiler James Fitzgerald. They are joined by several new investigators, including former New Scotland Yard criminal behavioral analyst Laura Richards and retired FBI supervisory special agent and statement analyst Stan Burke.

By re-examining the cast 20 years later, can this group finally figure out who killed JonBenét Ramsey? Tune in to THE CASE OF: JONBENÉT RAMSEY on Sunday, September 18 (8:30-10:30 p.m. ET/8:00-10:00 p.m. PT).
