Kevin James returns to series television this fall with KEVIN CAN WAIT. Kevin is a newly retired police officer who is looking forward to spending more time with his family. Naturally, he faces more problems at home than he did on the streets.
Kevin spends his days with fellow retirees: his former partner Goody (Leonard Earl Howze), his oldest friend Duffy (Lenny Venito) and his brother Kyle (Gary Valentine), a former fireman. But it turns out that his wife Donna (Erinn Hayes) spent years shielding him from the craziness of their family. Their eldest, Kendra (Taylor Spreitler), is dropping out of college so she can support her unemployed fiancé, Chale (Ryan Cartwright), while he designs the next “big app”; his teenage daughter, Sara (Mary-Charles Jones), is having issues at school; and their youngest, Jack (James DiGiacomo), is a bit of a hypochondriac.
