Hollywood seems to like ensemble shows and movies where people’s lives intersect in new and curious ways. And that’s the basis of THIS IS US, the newest dramedy coming to NBC for the 2016-2017 season.
Described as “honest and provocative”, THIS IS US focuses on a unique ensemble of characters — many of whom share the same birthday. And, apparently, “so much more than anyone would expect”. As their life stories intertwine in curious ways, THIS IS US “will challenge your everyday presumptions about the people you think you know”.

The cast includes Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan and Ron Cephas Jones. Dan Fogelman (GALAVANT and GRANDFATHERED) serves as writer and executive producer.
