About to embark on its fourth season, Syfy’s supernatural series BEING HUMAN revisits the lives of Aiden (Sam Witwer), Sally (Meaghan Rath), Josh (Sam Huntington) and Nora (Kristen Hager). Season 3 left off with Sally getting sucked into a limbo-world while trying to banish the wicked, witch Donna (Amy Aquino), and the long-awaited nuptials of Josh and Nora. Even Aiden seemed to finally be getting a life as he began a life with Kat (Deanna Russo).
But it is always the pieces of their lives that they overlook or left behind that come back to haunt them. For Aiden, it’s his wife, Susanna (Katherine Isabelle) and his friend, Kenny (Connor Price), a newly-turned vampire. Even Blake (Janine Theriault) seems to come back out of whatever dark crack she has been hiding.
For Sally, it is dealing with all the ways she has managed to cheat death and escape limbo. All those witchy spells have a price attached to them.
And for Josh and Nora, it was always bad enough to shackled to the moon cycles that dictated their werewolf transformations, but as Nora horribly found in the Season 3 finale, what is even worse is when you do not transform back. The full moon set and Josh was still a werewolf. Talk about honeymoon interrupted – when your husband is a werewolf all the time, the honeymoon is definitely over.
So Season 4 is all about the theme: “It all comes back to haunt them.”
While attending a press set visit, the cast of BEING HUMAN cheekily teased what Season 4 holds in store for their characters:
The cast of BEING HUMAN are a lively, entertaining, fun bunch, which makes perfect sense since they all portray such tormented and tortured souls on BEING HUMAN. It’s their way of letting loose after inhabiting the cursed world of BEING HUMAN. Yet it also explains the certain sparkle of chemistry seen on screen and the extra twinkle in their eyes in all their scenes together. They are having fun being a part of the BEING HUMAN world.
What is even more special is they have invited all their viewers and fans to play in their world for a while and appreciate the adventures they have there. No matter how scary and tormented the lives of Sally, Josh, Nora and Aiden become, their strong love and friendship always carries them through. That’s what makes the series so addictive. On-screen and behind the scenes, that love, warmth and affection can be felt. It makes the on-screen adventures that more enjoyable and why we want to be a part of it.
To see the premiere of BEING HUMAN’s 4th season, be sure to tune in Monday, January 13th at 9:00 p.m. on Syfy (Space in Canada). You are invited to come and play with the vampires, werewolves and ghosts for awhile. Just be careful as they may bite!
