In case you’ve somehow missed all those creeptacular ads FX has been running over the past few weeks, tonight marks the second-season debut of AMERICAN HORROR STORY. This year’s outing, called Asylum, features a few familiar faces and a whole new setting. Why will we be glued to our screens tonight at 10PM EST? Let us count the reason…
Could we ask for a better Halloween treat than the return of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, which proved to be one of last year’s most fear-filled weekly fright fests?
Forget killers with friendly-sounding names like Freddy or Jason. Asylum will introduce us to Bloody Face, whose name pretty much tells you he isn’t going to be the hero of the piece!
Last season, HORROR took us into a house haunted by a history it (not to mention its occupants) couldn’t escape. For season two of the anthology series, one of the most important “characters” is the hospital in which the show will be set. You’ve gotta love a hospital that comes with its own “death chute!”
Anyone who saw the first season knows that HORROR is not shy about stripping down its cast (hello, Adam Levine!) and doing terribly grotesque things to them… occasionally at the same time. Pushing both the boundaries of television and the envelope of taste, this is for mature audiences, making it a nice change from the usual TV pablum.
No explanation necessary.
