From HAWAII FIVE-0’s McGarrett and Danno to WHITE COLLAR’s Peter and Neal, police partnerships and television go hand in hand like, well… Crockett and Tubbs. Which is precisely why it should come as little surprise that for their latest summer series the USA Network has paired Think Like a Man star Michael Ealy with Warren Kole in COMMON LAW (Premiering May 11th at 10PM on USA), a new original drama series about two cops with a problem… each other.
Evidently, much like marriages, working relationships aren’t immune to the occasional quarrel. And when constant bickering begins to interfere with Marks (Ealy) and Mitchell’s (Kole) remarkable seven-year run in the Los Angeles Police department, their new-age Captain (Jack McGee) orders the talented twosome to attend couples counselling. And while it remains to be seen as to whether or not Dr. Ryan (Sonya Walger) will successfully be able to help two of LA’s finest resolve their conflicts and confront their demons in order to enhance their ability to work together solving crimes, there is no question when it comes to what we’ll be doing Friday nights this summer. But hey, don’t take our word for it, see for yourself after the jump.
COMMON LAW premieres Friday May 11th at 10PM on USA Network.
