Since I know you probably can’t spoil what goes down in tonight’s LIFE UNEXPECTED season finale (Yes CW, you heard me, season finale!), can you at the very least let me know if we’ve seen the last of Lux’s almost boyfriend Jones? With apologies to Bug, I’m totally on #teamabercrombie! — Jessica
The TV Addict: If it’s Austin Butler you want, we’ve got some bad news for you. According to sources, and by sources we’re of course referring to the internet movie database, Jones’ invite to tonight’s big LIFE UNEXPECTED wedding may have gotten lost in the mail. But, the good news is that if things go according to plan, you may be seeing a lot more of Mr. Butler next season if the CW picks up BETWIXT, a pilot he’s shooting alongside Jessy Shram and Morgan Bower which revolves around three teens who discover they’re actually changelings. Of course that shouldn’t stop you from watching our favorite CW show’s season finale tonight at 8PM.
As much as I’m trying to keep holding on, tomorrow night is too far away! Please give me some scoop on GLEE’s return to tide me over. — Amy
The TV Addict: Well, since you asked so nicely, you’ll be happy to know — complete with musical numbers that are already stuck in our head (thank-you-very-much All-American Rejects), Sue Sylvester one-liners that we’re still laughing at, and guest stars that well, defy gravity — Tuesday’s return is quintessential GLEE. And best of all, it’s only the beginning. In fact, of the first three episodes we’ve been lucky enough to screen including the highly-anticipated Madonna one, it might surprise you to learn that the third episode, which shines the spotlight on Mercedes packed the biggest emotional punch and truly solidified this show as something special.
Full disclosure: I’m obsessed with Quinn and Puck. To the point where I’m this close to convincing my boyfriend to shave his head like Mark Salling! What can fans expect from McKinley High’s hottest couple when GLEE returns? — Allison
The TV Addict: Firstly, should your boyfriend decide to go ahead with the “Full Puck,” please be sure to email us a photo next Halloween! Secondly, we’ve got some bad news for you. The downside to having remarkable guest stars like Spring Awakening’s Jonathan Groff, a serious bump in screen time for the always hilarious Santana and Britney, not to mention a Madonna episode with nine — yes nine — songs, is that something has to give. And that something, at least over the course of the first three episodes back is screen time for some of your favorites like Puck and Quinn whose relationship is barely an issue.
Should UGLY BETTY fans be worried that Wilhelmina took a bullet in last week’s episode? — Dante
The TV Addict: In a word: No. But what BETTY fans should be worried about is that in the world of Mode anything can happen and Wednesday series finale —which kicks off with a funeral, features the surprising return of an ex-lover and includes the words “Betty I can’t live without you.” — is no exception.
Will “Detty” (Daniel and Betty) shippers be smiling when the credits roll on Wednesday’s UGLY BETTY season finale? — Mimi
The TV Addict: Tough question. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that every character ends up in a better place from the time the series started.
Could not love VAMPIRE DIARIES any more, got any spoilers for me? — Alyssa
The TV Addict: The 20th episode of the season is called “Blood Brothers,” and as you’ll see from the photo below, there’s a very good reason why.
It feels like forever since we’ve had any news on HOW I MET YOU MOTHER, any news? — Lani
The TV Addict: The good news is that now that March Madness is over, CBS is finally taking HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER off the bench. The bad news: Both Ted and Barney will soon realize (Monday May 3 to be exact) that they want Robin back now that they see things getting serious with Don.
So excited to finally meet John May on tomorrow night’s V! Anything to tease? — Mike
The TV Addict: We too couldn’t be more excited for Tuesday’s highly-anticipated “John May” episode, which is why we posed your question to the always fantastic to talk to albeit somewhat cagey star Joel Gretsch (Father Jack) who would only go as far as to reveal the following, “I remember reading this episode [that is airing Tuesday] and sending an email to Scott Rosenbaum and the writers saying how very emotional it was. The episode just reveals so many things and solidifies the resistance. Things that get revealed help us [the resistance] understand more and more of each other. Even though we’re trying to accomplish the same goal, we don’t know each other very well, especially the Hobbes character. John May is kind of the epicenter of what’s to come about. It’s going to be a very very exciting episode.”
I’ve been hearing rumblings of a Leonard and Penny break up on THE BIG BANG THEORY, any truth to the rumors? — Lani
The TV Addict: As much as we’d like to respond to your irresponsible rumourmongering with a, “Whatcha talking about WIllis?” Alas, we cannot. Because according to our sources, things between Leonard and Penny will get so bad that the May 3rd episode entitled “The Spaghetti Catalyst” will see sheldon going to extremes to keep them both happy.
Well that about wraps it up folks for this edition of “Ask the Addict.” if you’ve got a question for the TV Addict, you can email me directly at info@thetvaddict.com or follow me on twitter @thetvaddict.
