Welcome to a new week for This Week on TV! Not a ton of new tv on this week. A few finales, a few premieres, a few ho-hum days. The summer season hasn’t kicked off fully yet and last season is pretty much over, so not a lot going on. Take what you can get, though! 🙂 I just traded in one of my 2 DVR’s for another one with a bigger hard drive. So I am set for the summer season and for next Fall! Yay!

Tuesday is the season finale of 2 great shows! First up is House on FOX at 9/8c. The team takes on the case of a woman who was rescued at sea en route from Cuba in her desperate bid to get a diagnosis from Dr. House.
Then at 10/9c on ABC is the season finale of Boston Legal. Alan and Denny represent two brothers charged with killing their abusive father; Clarence and Jerry take on the suit of a woman who claims her gambling debts were the fault of the casino.

It stars Taylor Handley (Oliver on The OC), Tessa Thompson (Jackie on Veronica Mars), Gaily O’Grady (most recently Judge Gloria Weldon on Boston Legal and also as Donny Abandando on NYPD Blue for several seasons), Sharon Lawrence (Maisy Gibbons on Desperate Housewives & ADA Sylvia Costas on NYPD Blue) & Michael Cassidy (Zach from The OC). Thursday is the first 2 parts of the new mini-series on USA called The Starter Wife at 9/8c & 10/9c. It stars Debra Messing & Miranda Otto (who is starring in the new show Cashmere Mafia mid-season next year).
There is another new episde of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip on NBC at 10/9c tonight as well. During a live show, Jordan experiences an emergency with her pregnancy; an even larger emergency unfolds for Tom; Matt’s pill use is discovered. My friend Chrissy watched last week’s episode and thought it was hysterical. Tune in!

FRIDAY
Friday has new episodes of the SciFi lineup, starting with Stargate: SG-1 at 8/7c. When a sinister leader threatens the Jaffa nation, Teal’c must go rogue in order to stop him.
Following that is Stargate: Atlantis at 9/8c. When the crew is ordered to take a personal day, an explosion rocks the city. Big happenings this ep, so don’t miss it!
Rounding out the night is a new episode of Painkiller Jane at 10/9c. A series of suicides of protected federal witnesses leads the team to a Neuro. I love this show!
