Jenny’s This Week on TV

Hi everybody! I’m SO ready for new episodes! There were too many reruns last week. Thankfully, that isn’t the case this week. 🙂 I was scared to find out this past week that there are a BUNCH of other people who watch as much or more tv as I do. *gulp* That is simply frightening! lol So let’s see what’s on this week why don’t we!

SUNDAY
On Sunday, it’s going to be a CBS night for me. I’ll be watching The Amazing Race again this week at 8/7c. One team books airline tickets for another team further back in the line, causing tempers to flare; car troubles bring one team up short and they watch the other teams pass them by. You just KNOW that the airline tickets thing is going to involve the bitchy blondes and the single moms. I swear, it’s like having children and watching them constantly bickering with each other! I was SOO happy last week when the brothers let the Kentucky husband/wife team grab the fast forward chance and then even starting last, came back to not be in last place! I love them! Who is your favorite?

At 9/8c, you can check out Cold Case, also on CBS. Lilly and the team investigate when the 1958 suicide of a radio disc jockey is discovered to be a murder; they must find the truth of his life by decoding a hidden message in his final broadcast. Poor Lilly is having a rough time of it in her personal life, isn’t she?? Says goodbye to her old beau and then gets said goodbye to by her current! Poor thing. 🙁 And last week’s episode with the autistic kid nearly made me cry. I felt so bad for the kids! But I love the actress that played the sister! Saige Thompson, who played Molly on Life on a Stick and guest starred on Ghost Whisperer & ER. Love her.

At 10/9c, I’ll be watching Without a Trace, again on CBS. The team searches for a missing family man (Eriq La Salle) living in New York, after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina; when the team learns he has told lies, they entertain the theory of a possible suicide. I adored Eriq La Salle on ER, so I can’t wait for this ep!

Also on tonight:

MONDAY
On Monday I’ll be watching Prison Break at 8/7c. Michael puts the moves on Mahone’s wife, trying to dig up dirt on his pursuer; Lincoln and L.J. have an uneasy road-trip; C-Note’s wife must choose between her husband and daughter; T-Bag gets an unwelcome surprise. I TOTALLY called the alliance between Michael & Sucre but had NO idea about T-Bag being such a freakin psychotic genius! lol

At 9/8c, I’ll probably turn to NBC to watch Heroes. A Las Vegas high-roller offers Hiro and his friend a deal they cannot refuse; Claire meets with her biological parents; Isaac receives another confusing phone call. I swear, that sounds like the Godfather. “A deal they cannot refuse” haha This show keeps getting better, imo! I’m loving it like I loved Lost season 1. heh

At 10/9c, I’ll probably be watching Rachael Ray on the CW network, since Studio 60 and CSI: Miami are not on or reruns. But most of you should watch Friday Night Lights in Studio 60’s place on NBC. Fearing job insecurity, coach Taylor must choose between starting the eager second-string quarterback or new recruit Ray Tatum (Aldis Hodge); Tim and Lyla’s relationship heats up. I haven’t been watching this show. Is it good? Is Kyle Chandler hawt? heh

Also on tonight:

TUESDAY
Happy Halloween! Tuesday is a happy night of tv for me! At 8/7c, I’m gonna watch Standoff. A boy takes hostages in a hospital to try to force a surgeon to operate on his terminally ill sister, unaware the surgeon is away on vacation. I’m so happy this show is back. Now here’s hoping it sticks around!

I have too many choices on at 9/8c, but my favorite is Veronica Mars. The underground campus casino is robbed on Halloween, while Veronica is looking for Logan; Dean O’Dell and his wife (Jamie Ray Newman from E-Ring!) want Keith to help track down the biological father of Mindy’s son. I loved last week’s ep with Matt Czuchry & Laura San Giacomo! I still think she needs to pluck those eyebrows, though!

At 10/9c, I’ll be watching Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on NBC. ADA Novak calls upon detective Benson, still under cover in Oregon, to present evidence that will strengthen the case against a brutal rapist. Olivia is back this week, thank goodness, although still under cover, but at least we’ll see her! She plays a big part in this ep, so that’s cool.

Also on tonight:

WEDNESDAY
Wednesday at 8/7c, I’ll be watching Bones on FOX. Brennan and Booth investigate a young beauty queen’s remains that are discovered at a water filtration plant; Hodgins asks Angela out on a date, which she accepts. I’m SOOO happy this show is back! I watched David Boreanaz on Rachael Ray the other day and he was FINE! And so sweet!

At 9/8c, I’ll to CBS for Criminal Minds. The BAU look to outsiders for clues when three college athletes disappear the night of a football pep rally; J.J. is instrumental in forming the profile and moving the case forward. The ratings for this show keep growing. Against Lost even!

Then at 10/9c, switch over to The Nine on ABC. Nick and Kathryn make a startling discovery about Eva and the bank robbery; Malcolm struggles with conflicting responsibilities to the bank and a friend’s widow. Yay for The Nine getting some more episodes ordered!

Also on tonight:

THURSDAY
Thursday at 8/7c, watch the new episode of Ugly Betty on ABC. Sofia Reyes (Salma Hayek), new to Mode, leaves a lasting impression on Daniel and Betty.

Then stick around at 9/8c for Grey’s Anatomy! Cristina draws the envy of the other doctors when she scrubs in for the “humpty dumpty” procedure; George and Addison work with a pregnant woman who faces an unusual dilemma. What in the world is the “humpty dumpty” procedure?? lol

At 10/9c, I’m going to switchover to NBC for ER. Dr. Kovac fears for the worst as he awaits the jury’s decision between himself and Curtis Ames (Forest Whitaker); Ray gets jealous when he sees Neela and Gates flirting. I know what happens with Dr. Kovac, so am looking forward to the next few weeks!

Also on tonight:

FRIDAY
Friday starts out at 8/7c with a new episode of Vanished on FOX. Sen. Collins delivers a press conference addressing the speculation surrounding his vote; Marcy struggles with developments involving Judge Rainer. I can’t wait to watch Eddie Cibrian. Yummo!

Then I’ll switch to NBC for Las Vegas at 9/8c. Ed returns from his Moroccan trip with shocking news about his past; Danny and Delinda’s romance heats up; Mike travels to Hawaii to help Sam with her whale problem. Love that show! So glad it’s back. 😀

Then at 10/9c, watch Battlestar Galactica on SciFi. A deadly virus forces the Cylons to make terrible choices to protect their race. I’ve read that this show has been great this season, so here’s hoping this week is another example of that!

Also on tonight:

SATURDAY
Don’t forget to watch Kidnapped on Saturday at 9/8c. Ellie Cain’s father (Robert Foxworth) negotiates to get his grandson back; Knapp and King uncover information about the Cain family’s past. Love Knapp! Anyone else think he’s just sexy cause of his attitude, etc? heh

Hope you have a great week and an extra fun (& safe!) Halloween! I’m not going to wear a costume, but I know a ton of people who are! Are you?
