Completely devoid of a filter, or better-still a high-powered Hollywood publicist to ask “Do you really think this is a good idea?” comes a shirtless, foul-mouthed, not-safe-for-work, cigarette smoking Thomas Dekker; Doing his part to fight for his future and save TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES. Or as this TV Addict likes to call it, a trend we get behind.
But putting aside the looming concern that last night may have been the final chronicle of Sarah Connor for a moment, this TV Addict didn’t want to pass up this opportunity to tip my hat to Josh Friedman; Who not only took what injected a complex and well thought out discussion about the very nature of humanity, religion and technology in what very easily been an excuse for FOX and Warner Bros. to milk a tired franchise with a SMALLVILLE-style killer-robot of the week. But delivered a season finale that leaves fans (or at least this TV Addict) in the unexpected position of being both satisfied and wanting more at the exact same time.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING: TERMINATOR: TSCC (8PM FOX, “A” in Canada)
The Connors encounter with Weaver becomes a pivotal event for John in the future. Our theory: Weaver teaches John a phrase that will serve him well as he fights for his future following TERMINATOR’s unfortunate cancellation, “Would you like fries with that?”
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (9PM NBC, E! in Canada)
Taking a bit of the suspense out of Coach Eric Taylor’s contract reviewal is the already announced pact between NBC and DirecTV to renew television’s best drama for two more seasons. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
DOLLHOUSE (9PM FOX, Global in Canada)
Echo and Sierra are turned into spy hunters in order to track down a Dollhouse traitor. Which means after yesterday’s twitter snafu, Felicia Day might want to watch her back. We’re just sayin’
1. 90210: That noise you just heard was 90210 finally getting interesting thanks to the introduction of Naomi’s new fast and furious guy candy (can we trademark that moniker?) Liam and Silver, who went from zero-to-crazy in less than sixty minutes.
2. LIFE ON MARS: As much as we’d like to applaud executive producers Josh Appelbaum, Scott Rosenberg and André Nemec for ending the American version of LIFE ON MARS on their own terms, it would help if we had a better understanding as to what exactly those terms were.
3. SUPERNATURAL: Regardless of whether you’re a “Sam Girl” or a “Dean Girl,” this TV Addict’s fairly confident that neither camp is complaining about Thursday’s seriously meta and super hilarious installment of SUPERNATURAL.
4. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: From the gut-wrenching play that lost the Dillon Panthers the State Championship in the closing seconds of the game to Tyra Collete’s heartbreaking college entrance essay, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS continues to be the best show on television nobody is watching.
As promised, Friday’s sixth episode of DOLLHOUSE didn’t disappoint. Please tell me it wasn’t an aberration. — DrunkonDushku
The TV Addict: Rest assured, it wasn’t. With Whedon’s winning streak continuing this Friday when he reveals more of Echo’s backstory by sending her on a mission back to the very College campus that we’ve become accustomed to catching glimpses of in the mysterious ‘Caroline’ video. Fans will also learn how Sierra ended up in the Dollhouse, when she confronts the man responsible for putting her there (and trust me, it ain’t pretty.) Oh, and as for the big reveal that there are twenty or so Dollhouses strategically located around the world, Whedon joked on a recent conference call that it’s built-in franchising. In other-words, get ready for DOLLHOUSE: MIAMI!
What’s the word on tonight’s GOSSIP GIRL? — GossipGuy
The TV Addict: Does “ZZZZZZzzzzzz” count as a word? Because unfortunately, that is my reaction to tonight’s snooze-inducing Nate-centric story-line. Seriously. If the Dollhouse ever needs another pretty-boy to walk around with a vapid and emotionless expression on his face, Chace Crawford is their man. So much so that not even an inebriated and highly entertaining secret-spilling Blair could save tonight’s train-wreck of an episode.
Loved Friday’s episode of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR chronicles, how about you? — LenaLikey
The TV Addict: You mean the one where John Connor finally grew a pair. No exaggeration, scenes like John’s confrontation with Jesse are why PVR’s were invented (Well, that and because it allowed me to attend my BSG Frakkin’ Finale Party worry-free.) John’s transformation from petulant emo-boy was long overdue and I for one loved getting to see a glimpse of the young man who has finally started to demonstrate that he has what it takes to fight for humanity’s future. A fight, which by the way, just got a whole lot more interesting with Friday’s future-reveal that not all robots are on the same side.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING: TERMINATOR: TSCC (8PM FOX, “A” in Canada)
John makes a pivotal decision. One that we can only hope doesn’t involve his oft-maligned hairstyle. Again.
DOLLHOUSE (9PM FOX, GlobalTV in Canada)
It’s the one fans have been waiting for. Especially after Eliza Dushku’s February 27 interview where she let it slip that DOLLHOUSE “really took off” (read: becomes watchable) with tonight’s game-changer of an episode.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (9PM NBC, E! in Canada)
Landy tires of Tyra’s selfish behavior. And you know what? Kudos to him. Because quite frankly, we tired of Tyra’s selfish behavior a good four episodes ago.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (9PM SyFy, Space in Canada)
None of this has happened before, and none of this will happen again. So be sure to set your PVR to record 11 minutes long, as you’d hate to miss the ending of this super-sized series finale.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING: TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES (8PM FOX)
In the first of a two-parter, John and his mom prepare to pack up and hit the road. As anyone who has ever been a teenager will tell you, nothing sucks more than having to be the new guy every few months. Even if you are hot and your mom’s a babe.
DOLLHOUSE (9PM FOX, Global in Canada)
Echo has to infiltrate a cult to rescue a woman being held against her will. The only problem: She has to do it as a visually impaired woman! Oh, those wacky imprinters! You know, the more I think about it, the more this seems kinda like CHARLIE’S ANGELS, what with the having to pretend to be different people every week and the hot chick and all.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (9PM NBC, E! in Canada)
It ain’t easy dating a Riggins boy, but it does give Lyla and Mindy something to commiserate over. Meanwhile, Billy’s depressed, Tyra deals with her regrets and the women in Matt’s life clash. Okay, place your bets: Will his mom or grandma come out on top? My money’s on grandma. Old people play dirty!
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (10PM Sci Fi, SPACE in Canada)
In part one of the two-part series finale, Adama seeks out volunteers for a final mission. Frak, I’m already missing this show… how long until CAPRICA debuts?
As much as this hilarious and slightly not-safe-for-work video does its best to answer the age-old question, “Why do Terminators time-travel naked?” We’re still left asking, how does it explain Summer Glau. Thoughts?

LEARN: That the CW cares very little about the fate of REAPER as evidence by its questionable decision to launch its second season (which attracted a disappointing 2.3 million viewers) up against FOX’s unstoppable reality TV Juggernaut AMERICAN IDOL (which by comparison garnered 24.3 million viewers.) Nightmares of cancellation drive Sarah to visit a sleep clinic.
DOLLHOUSE (8PM FOX)
Echo provides protection to a pop star. Chris Brown best be watching his back.

In the latest installment of what not to do during the mortgage meltdown, three men take the CEO of a mortgage company hostage after they lose all their money in a mortgage scheme.
