Contrary to popular belief, the Charles Toberman Estate (a Los Angeles mansion most famous for being the home of Vincent Chase and Co. during the first two seasons of ENTOURAGE) did not try to end its own life following the embarrassment that comes with being associated with the current dreadful season of ENTOURAGE. Last night, theTVaddict.com’s Special West Coast Correspondent Kevin Kelly was fortunate enough to attend the party the CW threw for the gang from 90210. Everybody who is anybody was there. Including original cast members Jennie Garth and Jason Priestly, who stuck around just long enough to get mauled by a swarm of paparazzi and press only to (understandably) leave early.

Luckily, theTVaddict.com’s Special West Coast Correspondent Kevin Kelly really earned his stripes last night by managing to fight his way through the madness in order to snag an exclusive with Shenae Grimes. Here’s what she had to say about what can only be described as the most surreal year of her life, ever.

TheTVaddict.com: So how is it been dealing with the popularity of the show, the limelight this year?
Shenae Grimes: It’s crazy! The only weird thing is getting use to the paparazzi being around all the time. But you get used to that pretty quick. Other than that, I don’t read anything in the press, so it doesn’t really affect me.

Any surreal, “this is my life” moments?
Fans approaching me is always insane. People who appreciate what I do for a living and care enough to come up to me is always insane, amazing. That will never get old I don’t think. Parties and events and seeing certain people that I never thought I’d ever thought I’d ever catch myself in the same room. That’s pretty crazy.

Your generation of actors is really the first to grow up with Facebook and MySpace, do you have time to do web stuff?
I’m technology inept, I don’t think I’d be able to maintain that. It’s a great idea. If I figure it out I’d like to. I’d love to be able to speak to my fans live. Really crazy cool.

Do you hang out with the old cast just as much as the new cast?
I haven’t shot very much with Jenny [Garth]. I don’t know what the other kids relationships with them are like. I know when Shannon [Doherty was on set I was with her all the time. Talking to her, she's amazing.

Jason's [Priestly] is directing an upcoming episode, right?
It’s coming up, the next episode, It’s so exciting.

I hope they get him to appear on the show.

Good News: Michael Phelps scored another gold as the season premiere of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE attracted the show’s biggest audience since 2002. Bad News: The shows complete downward spiral following Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler’s hilarious opening sketch quickly reminded a record audience as to why they stopped watching SNL in the first place. Now I know what you’re thinking, “Isn’t FRINGE the show that’s supposed to have fans scratching their heads?” Well, yes. But this morning this TV Addict can’t seem to stop thinking about all the surprising mysteries brought forth by last night’s installment of 90210. Here’s hoping that you, my far smarter and better looking readers can help a TV Addict out by posting your theories.

Mystery #1, West Beverly High: Far be it from this TV Addict to judge another high school. But at least where I came from [Toronto's Forest Hill Collegiate, in case you're wondering], new kids were not so easily welcomed with open arms like the gang from West Bev seems to have embraced Annie and Dixon Mills. I mean seriously. Unless you were hot, and I mean really really hot. Newbies weren’t talked to for a good month or two! Which begs the obvious question, what is Annie and Dixon’s secret? And more importantly, why did 90210 showrunners Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs rob fans of that classic first season episode where our lead characters invariably form that best-friends-forever bond after being trapped in detention, an elevator, the library, and/or victims of a school shooting or earthquake.

Mystery #2, Naomi Clark: Do the powers that be seriously expect us to buy that AnnaLynne McCord looks young enough to play a high school student? But Gabrielle Carteris comparisons aside, what this TV Addict is really tiring of is the played out television cliché that money doesn’t by happiness. Who doesn’t dream of the day when your Dad makes up for the fact that he can’t take you to Las Vegas by surprising you with a car.

Mystery #3, Kelly’s BabyFather: While the identity of Kelly’s one night stand technically still remains a mystery, there’s no way that Sammy’s father isn’t Dylan McKay. I’m just sayin’, Jim and Cindy Walsh did no raise Brandon Walsh to be a deadbeat dad!

Mystery #4, Silver: Are we honestly expected to buy the fact that Silver has been spending her nights at a Women’s Shelter in Los Angeles? Don’t get me wrong, I understand not wanting to spend time with a hammered Jackie Taylor [played to perfection yet again by Ann Gillespie] But did Silver really have to tug at our heartstrings with a shelter? I mean come’on. She’s a hot girl in West Beverly. Could she not have slept over at a boyfriends, a best friends, Mel and/or Kelly’s place?

Mystery #5, Jessica Walter: And just when I was looking forward to my weekly Tabitha Mills/Jessica Walter Fix? Nothing… Donna Martin Graduate! More Lucille Bluth!

In lieu of an actual interview, which this TV Addict is working very hard on arranging. I thought you’d enjoy a few minutes with fellow Canadian and Hollywood’s next “IT” Girl, Shenae Grimes.

In honor of the CW releasing this first official cast photo of the new gang from 90210, this TV Addict thought we could have a little fun by predicting the future. So take a moment, as you kill a few minutes leading up to the weekend, to place your bets on the following predictions.

1. Who will be the first cast member to leave the show? Also known as pulling a Shannen Doherty

2. Who will be the first cast member to get their very own “I Hate [Insert Character Name Here]” Club? Another Doherty honor!

3. Who will be the first cast member to ditch the show for the big screen? Also known as pulling a David Caruso, or an attempted Katherine Heigl.

4. Who will be the first cast member to ditch the show for a failed talk show and/or stint on THE SURREAL LIFE? Also known as pulling a Gabrielle Carteris.

5. Who will be the first cast member to be outed by Perez Hilton?

6. Who will be the first cast members to start an on-set showmance?

7. Who will be the first cast member to get pulled over for a DUI. Also known as pulling a Shia LeBeouf.

… You look at this just released photo of newcomer [and fellow Canadian] Shenae Grimes and hear the unforgettable voice of Brenda Walsh uttering, “Everyone here looks like they stepped out of a music video. I don’t even have the right hair.”

Also acceptable would have been B’s classic one-liner to Brandon upon seeing the West Beverly High parking lot lined with fancy cars like Steve Sanders’ Black Corvette, “I think we’re going to need a raise in our allowance.”

Even though the seemingly endless casting announcements with regards to original series stars has us a little concerned about the CW’s last great hope 90210 re-boot. This TV Addict isn’t ashamed to admit that these just released photos of future love triangle Annie/Ethan/Naomi [see above] and Brandon/Brenda re-incarnate Annie and Dixon [after the jump] already have me humming in my head, dadada-dadada-fist pump-fist pump-luke perry eyebrow.
