Raise your hand if have absolutely no idea what last night’s premiere of JOHN FROM CINCINNATI was about.
Raise your hand if you’re so confused by Papa Yost’s inexplicable ability to levitate himself off the ground that you may actually give this series another chance.
Raise your hand if you don’t even care what’s going on, but are now really inspired to learn how to surf.
2007 TONY AWARDS
Raise your hand if you’re annoyed that CBS didn’t pony up the money to broadcast last night’s Tony Awards in High Definition.
Raise your hand if you think SPRING AWAKENING is the most over-hyped Broadway musical ever and you don’t understand (because you’re not fourteen) why exactly watching teeangers embrace their sexuality has been hailed as the ’second-coming of the modern musical?

Raise your hand if you’re excited for tonight’s long awaited return of BIG LOVE?
Raise your hand if you actually started to raise you hand while reading this post.
Raise your hand if your co-workers are starting to stare.
Do you find yourself wishing you jumped on THE SOPRANOS bandwagon while you had the chance? Do you live in constant fear that friends, family and co-workers will one day discover that you’ve never actually seen an entire episode of THE SOPRANOS? That you have absolutely no idea who “Joey Pants” is and that you think Drea de Matteo is simply that girl from JOEY? Never fear, two 23-year-old New Yorkers may have just saved your butt.
Meet Paul Gulyas and Joe Sabia. Two recent college graduates living in Los Angeles who took over one hundred hours to create the “Seven Minute Sopranos” — A love letter to HBO’s seminal family drama. Simply press play on the YouTube clip above and catch up on over 77 episodes of THE SOPRANOS in a mere seven minutes and thirty-seven seconds. Trust us, nobody will ever know you weren’t driving the bandwagon from day one.
What may have been lost in all THE SOPRANOS ‘Final Episodes’ hype is the fact that tonight marks the return of one of theTVaddict’s favourite dramas — Johnny Drama.
Yes my friends, Matt Dillon’s less famous — yet equally hilarious brother — Kevin Dillon (Johnny Drama) returns tonight with all new episodes of ENTOURAGE.
Those hoping Vinnie and Ari would have simply ‘hugged it out’ following last fall’s season finale are in for a bit of a shock [for a refresher of Ari being fired last season, see clip above]. Tonight’s premiere revolves around Vinnie’s birthday bash and the introduction of his new agent Amanda (deliciously played by Carla Cugino). I guess what they say about Hollywood is true. Never forget the number one rule — it’s not show-friends, it’s show-business.
ENTOURAGE returns tonight at 10PM on HBO and TMN in Canada.
When we last left our favourite entourage, Vince had just fired his agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) after Ari failed to secure Vince’s dream project — the Joey Ramone biopic. When ENTOURAGE returns on Sunday April 8, expect the unexpected. More specifically, the addition of a new female cast member to Vince’s possé. Carla Cugino (THRESHOLD) joins the cast as Vince’s new agent and proverbial thorn in Ari’s side. Any bets on to how many seconds it takes Drama to hit on her?
What happens when an unkown actor who can’t catch a break actually catches one? Now, thanks to HBO, we can find out. Click here to download the season premiere of EXTRAS in its entirety! Once you catch the second season premiere, you’ll be hooked an can continue watching the new season on HBO (10PM Sundays). Aside from featuring the brilliant Ricky Gervais (the man behind the original British version of THE OFFICE), EXTRAS features hilarious cameos by celebrities such as Daniel Radcliffe, Orlando Bloom and Sir Ian McKellen.
As I’m surfing the net today I can’t help but notice many ‘Save Everwood’ and ‘Save Deadwood’ campaigns. The humour of course is that both shows end with ‘wood’. Fans of both shows should start a new organization… SAVE WOOD, who’s with me… anyone?
Whether you’re a fan of LOST or AMERICAN IDOL, enjoy your two hour finale tonight. Needless to say, I’ll be watching LOST instead of the two hour infomercial that is AMERICAN IDOL! Either way, enjoy your last night of May Sweeps, it’s been a Great Month!
Are you a fan of HBO’s recently cancelled DEADWOOD? Do you happen to have an extra 60 million dollars lying around? (who doesn’t?). If so, you can help save DEADWOOD. Creator David Milch always planned DEADWOOD as a four chapter series. Hoping to make his vision a reality, Milch is looking for a generous benefactor to help save the show and give him one more season (12 episodes).
“I’m doing what I can,” Milch says. “Any financial participation could take the pressure off. HBO hasn’t said no… . If I were a gambling guy, which I am, I’d say odds are less than even money.”
Milch says he’s looking at any avenue for funds, including casino tie-ins, theme parks as well as the actual commnity of Deadwood
The third (and most likely final) season of DEADWOOD premieres June 11 on HBO. With a huge ensemble cast and lavish period sets, production costs are north of $5 million an episode. A full season’s order is 12 episodes.
My question: How much would it cost to SAVE EVERWOOD?
