When Principal Skinner gets fed up with Bart’s constant pranks, he reveals to him that there is a former Springfield Elementary student who is hailed as the best prankster ever. Enter Andy Hamilton (guest voice Jonah Hill), who at 19-years-old still hasn’t grown out of his pranking days in THE SIMPSONS November 22 episode entitled “Pranks and Greens.”

Because threesomes are, like you know so last week, leave it to creator Ryan Murphy to up the ante by putting the entire McKinley High gang in bed together…. when New Directions performs in a local commercial in the December 2nd episode of GLEE entitled “Mattress.”

What’s the only thing more shocking than BATTELSTAR GALACTICA star Katee Sackhoff showing up as a vision in Wolowtiz’s bathtub to offer up relationship advice? How about Wolowitz in a relationship! Which is the situation he finds himself in on the Monday November 23 episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY entitled “The Vengeance Formulations.”

On the December 9th episode of COUGAR TOWN, Bill Lawrence repertory player Scott Foley strolls into town to play a very wealthy potential home buyer who feigns interest in an overpriced home in order to (successfully, by the looks of it) get Jules’ attention.

When BETTER OFF TED returns for an unexpected (albeit very welcome) second season, so to does the evil (albeit unintentionally hilarious) corporation that is Veridian Dynamics. A corporation that on December 8th will attempt to curb the cost of employee health benefits by genetically matching employees. A program we should mention the usually skeptical Linda will find herself, well digging, upon learning that her match is none other than Greg (played by special guest star Taye Diggs)

It may surprise you to learn that GLEE star Cory Monteith and the TV Addict go way back.

Before he became everyone’s favorite singing jock, Monteith and his fellow GLEE clubbers were hangin’ with me on the set of what would soon become the most buzzed about show in recent memory, asking what I and several other reporters thought of their little “we’re singin’ and dancin’ and we’re not gonna be the next COP ROCK” show.

Okay, frankly, none of them are old enough to remember COP ROCK. But I digress.

During that meeting back in March, the cast wanted to know if we, the TV journalists with our fingers on the pulse of the pop-culture beat, thought this show would connect with a large enough audience to prevent it from tap dancing to an early grave. They seemed genuinely concerned that America wouldn’t “get” what they were doing and would throw a metaphorical slushie in their faces.

Cut to almost a year later, where Monteith is holding court at Toronto’s only five-star hotel on the final leg of a seemingly endless promotional tour which has taken him from the malls of America to his hometown of Calgary — where he won over crowds at last weekend’s Gemini awards — and everywhere in between.

Ridiculously friendly and shocking laid back for a young man whose every public appearance is greeted by throngs of shrieking fans, Monteith kindly took time out of his busy schedule of pressing the flesh and signing autographs to catch up with this TV Addict about how his life has changed since GLEE took the country world by storm and the question on everyone’s lips: Will Finn finally dump Quinn for Rachel?

You essentially got to shoot the first 13 episodes of GLEE in a protective bubble. Now that you’ve seen the critical and fan reaction first hand, do you expect the atmosphere on the set and between the cast members to change?
Cory Monteith: I think a lot will remain to be seen. We got to do a little bit of work when the show had actually come out but we haven’t been in production with this kind of reaction yet. Honestly, I really hope we can all focus and stick to our guns.

When I had the chance to visit the set in March, all I saw was a group of ridiculously hardworking cast and crew. Are you at all concerned that when you do resume shooting, the set will suddenly be swamped with cast member’s entourages (Managers, publicists, stylists and hanger-oners)?
Well that’s just it [laughs] That’s been the kind of landscape of the more recent publicity tours. I guess I’m the only hold out.

How nervous are you about the perils of fame?
I’m really trying not to lose my perspective.

Something that I imagine is easier said than done when you’ve spent the last month singing the National Anthem at the World Series games and jetting between New York and Los Angeles for events that include thousands of fans lining up for autographs at CD signings. How exactly are you going to keep your head on straight?
You just put your head down and do what you’ve got to do. Whether it’s signing CD’s or doing interviews, which is really all we’re really doing. Whether it’s for a million people or two, I’m just doing concentrating on doing the job at any given moment.

As you prepare to head back to the set to start shooting the latter half of the season, is there added pressure knowing that what you do onscreen will now be scrutinized by millions of fans?
You know, it hadn’t even occurred to me….

Until now.
Am I supposed to be nervous? Crap! Now that you mention it…. Like I said, my approach has always been in this industry and in this career: I am what I am and I do what I do and it’s literally that simple. I can’t do it if I think too much about it.

What’s it been like being on what to this outsider seems like the never-ending publicity tour?
[Laughs] Pretty much. [Nodding to the publicist in the room] See I told you this was nothing! [Referring to the 'mere' morning of press he has done in Toronto]

Australia, New York, Las Vegas, Calgary, Toronto, have you had anytime to soak it in and enjoy?
There really hasn’t been time to soak it in. It’s been pretty relentless since May. But hey… make hay while the sun shines.

But surely you must have had some ridiculously cool, “I can’t believe this is my life” moments?
My this is ridiculously cool moment was when I was doing THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH CONAN O’BRIEN and Conan walked into the green room and shook my hand and said I’m a big fan of the show.

At the beginning you did seem a bit nervous, but looked more comfortable as the interview went on.
Good, that’s what my manager said and she knows me better than anybody.

Moving onto the show, who is going to find out the truth about their impending (or lack their-of) baby-daddy situation first. Finn or Mr. Schuester?
They both happen at pretty much the same time to be honest with you.

Will the truth come out prior to GLEE’s hiatus?
Let’s put it this way. The show was written as potentially having only 13 episodes because that was our first order. Not knowing whether or now we were going to be picked up means everything kind of comes to a head in the first 13.

Does episode 13 end on a cliffhanger?
Yes, it does.

When GLEE does come back, will it do so following AMERICAN IDOL?
After AMERICAN IDOL.

Is this confirmed?
We know this for sure.

AMERICAN IDOL/ GLEE sounds like a match made in heaven.
It’s the best possible scenario.

How much do you know about what is in store for Finn over the course of GLEE’s final 9 episodes of the season?
I don’t know a thing. You know as much as i do. In fact, no one tells me anything. Honestly, they say this is when you need to show up, a car will pick up you up at this time and that’s like literally how it kind of rolls for me.

And finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask you one of the most pressing questions on every Gleek’s mind. Does Finn belong with Rachel or Quinn?
[Laughs] For Finn, I don’t know. I think there’s a terrific love triangle there with Puck, Rachel and Finn and that’s definitely where the plot is heading in the future. There really is terrific chemistry with all these characters so it will be interesting to see.

For us every-day TV Addicts who let’s face it, don’t always pick up on the subtle subtleties of every look, nuance and intricate line of dialogue that are packed into each and every hour of the Matthew Weiner masterpiece, Sunday’s game-changer of a finale that had Don leading Roger and Bertram (Sterling and Cooper respectively) in a coup d’état in an effort to take control of their own destiny by secretly starting their own agency was plain and simple mad mad fun. Now, if only we had some assurances that we haven’t seen the last of Ken, Paul and Sal!

90210
After almost a season and a half, this week’s installment of 90210 finally delivered that missing piece of the puzzle. The spark of genuine friendship between our leading players upon Liam finally revealing to Dixon, Teddy and surfer chick Ivy the reason why he looks like he’s ready to ‘Hulk smash’ at a moments notice. Seriously. All that was missing from this next gen gang’s vow to help Liam take Naomi’s duplicitous sister Jen down was an iconic Brandon/Steve/Dylan fist-bump.

GLEE
Just how good was this week’s highly anticipated return of GLEE? So good that the defying-gravity-diva-off between Rachel and Kurt that we’ve been counting down the hours for wasn’t even the episode’s highlight. Don’t get us wrong, our current iTunes play count on Defying Gravity is at a solid 66 plays and counting in less than a week. But when an episode manages to humanize Sue Sylvester, provide Artie with a much-deserved moment in the spotlight and allow for Tina — who quite frankly we were starting to worry was quietly becoming the GLEE equivalent of FRINGE’s Astrid — to deliver not only what was easily her largest amount of dialogue to date, but a shocking reveal to-boot, there’s a good reason why we have yet to stop believin’ (or talkin’ about) this show.

DEXTER
Oh No Dexter Didn’t! Oh wait, he did. Break Harry’s code that is. And now that he’s killed what we presume is his first innocent man — the big, scary, question that remains is will we as fans ever be able to look at what was once America’s favorite serial killer the same way again? Stay tuned.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Predictable, cheesy, call it what you will. But Buddy “Clear eyes, full hearts can’t lose” Garrity’s denouncement of the Dillon Panther Boosters was one of those rare TV moments that PVR’s were made for.

Wondering why the gang from New Directions looks a little less than gleeful today? Well, if we were to hazard a guess, it might have a little something to do with the realization that their competition on GLEE’s upcoming November 25 episode entitled “Hairography” includes a few ringers in the form of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE contestants Katee Shean, Kherington Payne, and Comfort Fedoke. But hey, don’t take our word for it, judge for yourself by checking out some more first look photos after the jump.

Wondering why Kurt looks so happy? Well, if we had to guess, it probably has a little something to do with GLEE’s upcoming November 18 episode entitled “Ballad” where he’ll find himself hooking up with Finn. In the musical sense that is (seriously slash fiction writers, get your heads out of the gutter!) when Mr. Schuester splits the Glee Club into pairs to sing their favorite ballad. Thanks to the seemingly never-ending World Series, tonight has FOX once again benching GLEE in lieu of some match nobody outside of New York or Philadelphia care about. Thus, in an effort to raise your levels of well, glee, this TV Addict thought we’d take the opportunity to fill our fellow Gleeks in on a little secret: When the continuing adventures of McKinley High does return next Wednesday November 11, it does so in a big way by delivering what is hands down the best episode to date. And not just because Kurt and Rachel are pitted in a head-to-head diva-off that may-or-may not defy gravity.

Rather, the show improves upon the one, possibly only thing that it has been severely lacking by delivering genuine and more importantly plausible character development. While at the same time firmly shining the spotlight on the one member of New Directions who until now has been left quietly waiting in the wings. And considering the episode is titled “Wheels,” you probably can guess whom we’re talking about.

Yes, in an episode centered around raising money for a wheelchair accessible bus so that Artie may accompany the club to sectionals, Artie not only gets his own very memorable song and dance number (”Dancing with Myself”), but his plight serves as the catalyst for a whole slew of fantastic surprises.

Quinn will get a first-hand look at how how her baby Daddy Finn and wanna-be-daddy Puck deal with earning money. Sue Sylvester, the coach we love to hate will be forced by Principal Figgins to open up Cheerio’s tryouts to the entire school which will culminating in a scene that we guarantee will have you in tears (although probably not for the reasons you might think). And best of all, we learn that Mr. Schuester’s wife Terri isn’t the only one hiding a big-time secret.

Add to that, another appearance by our nominee for television’s father-of-the-year Burt Hummel (Kurt’s Dad) and the welcome absence of the dead-weight that are soon-to-be newlyweds Emma and Coach Tanaka and we guarantee that November 11 will defy even the biggest Gleek’s lofty expectations.
