After a big episode of THE 100 set in Polis last week, this week returns to the more internal drama facing Arkadia. Pike and Kane are still at odds, as the former Chancellor struggles to keep the new Chancellor’s power at bay. There’s mutiny in the ranks and a fight between the two sides is about to break out.
For weeks now Pike has been concerned with fighting the enemy at their doors. This week, howeve,r in “Terms and Conditions”, he’ll turn his focus inward as he suspects there may be a leak within the walls of Arkadia. And he’s not wrong. Kane has been searching for a peaceful way to stop Pike from dragging their people further into an all-out war, but now it seems he may be forced to resort to drastic measures.
On the one hand, it can be hard to not hate Pike (and by extension Bellamy), but both men believe they’re doing the right thing for their people. One is done out of anger and wanting to control the situation, while the other is done out of an abundance of caution and trying to work with the other side. We’ve already seen how the first side worked out for everyone in the first few seasons, but some lessons are best learned the hard way.
Who will suffer the fallout of this lesson? Can Kane stop Pike before it’s too late? What is Raven planning with Jasper? Watch sneak peeks below for this week’s episode of THE 100 and tune in tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
