The world of THE 100 is growing yet again. Season 1 introduced us to the Woods Clan of Grounders, which then led us to the Mountain Man, and now we’ll come up against another great enemy: the Ice Nation.
This week’s episode, titled “Ye Who Enter Here,” will be our first real introduction to the twelve Grounder Clans, including the dreaded Ice Nation. The episode title comes from a line in Dante’s Inferno, saying “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here,” and it couldn’t be more fitting as Clarke is forced to decide whether to join their Coalition.
At the helm is Commander Lexa, who last left Clarke and her people for dead against the Mountain Men. The two have a tenuous relationship for sure, but they may need to band together against a new common enemy. While technically part of the Coalition, Queen Nia of the Ice Nation has other plans for the Grounders that include her son Roan.
Elsewhere, Pike and his people have moved into Mount Weather, putting Abby and Kane at odds in the clip below over whether it was the right move. On the one hand, it means more supplies, but on the other it could put them politically at ends with the Grounders, with whom they already maintain a tenuous peace treaty. There’s no going back, and the act could have deadly consequences at the Coalition’s summit: “At sundown, your people will die.”
Will Clarke join Lexa’s Coalition? What does Queen Nia have planned for the rest of the Grounders? Will Bellamy be able to get to the summit in time? Watch some sneak peeks below for the February 4th episode of THE 100 and don’t forget to tune in tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
