While actual talent, singing ability and stage presence may play a small part in who will be named your next American Idol, the not-so-ugly-fact of the matter is that the success and/or failure of a contestant on America’s most-watched singing competition very often boils down to nothing more than popularity. Like High School, it’s not what, but rather who and how many people (on facebook!) you know. Fun Facts about this week’s Top 20: By percentage, Lee Dewyze attracted the most new followers with an impressive 193%. Conversly, Todrick Hall after a fairly disappointing performance attracted the least new number of followers, adding a mere 48%. Casey James jumped from 10th to 4th place, while Aaron Kelly sunk to 7th from 5th. Meanwhile Andrew Garcia and John Park remain your front-runners, holding onto the first and second spots respectively.
