Cory Monteith and the TV Addict, Toronto, November 2009

Good News: In our exclusive one-on-one with GLEE star and fellow Canadian Cory Montieth, the actor talked candidly about how his life has changed since GLEE catapulted him to world-wide fame and what to expect from the final string of episodes prior to the show’s holiday hiatus. Bad News: You’ll have to wait until Wednesday for the interview in its entirety. And until then, settle for this good (albeit slightly obvious) news. According to Monteith, it’s official: GLEE is being paired up with the powerhouse that is AMERICAN IDOL when the show returns in 2010. Pass it on.

Big boost in perspective! It’s logical.

Well, I suppose it was between that and moving Fringe to AI’s night. I think Glee fits a little bit better with AI’s demo.

Josh Emerson Says:

How is this news? Fox said at the upfronts that Glee would be airing with AI in the spring.

John Says:

Hmm, I’m still trying to figure out FOX’s schedule.

MONDAY: House and 24
TUESDAY: Idol
WEDNESDAY: Idol and Glee
THURSDAY: Bones and Human Target?
FRIDAY: Lie to Me and Past Life?

They’ve always got Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Moment of Truth, Kitchen Nightmares, Don’t Forget the Lyrics and a few other things to for Friday.

But where is Fringe gonna go?

Ace Says:

I’m betting Fringe stays right where it is and Lie to Me gets benched for a while or they wait to bring on Past Life.

TVFan Says:

Bad news for FRINGE. But happy for Glee all the same.

Patrick Says:

What great news. Two incredible shows, should be tough to beat.

Fox announced this in May 2009–here’s the midseason schedule as they announced it: http://www.fox.com/programming/fox10.php
