The TV Addict has just learned something awesome. Actually, it’s not so much awesome, as legendary. Seriously. For on November 23, not only are HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER fans invited to a very special Thanksgiving-themed episode in which Lily’s estranged father (played by special guest star Chris Elliot) shows up announced and in doing so, allows for us to learn what led to their estrangement three years prior. The episode’s title is… wait for it… “Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap.” More first look photos of which can be found after the jump.

I seriously watched an entire season of HIMYM just so I could catch up and watch the new season. I’m not loving barney and robin as much as i thought i would

Know what I think? I bet we don’t get another Slap. I bet Marshall (or Lily’s dad) is involved in a completely different Slap Bet which will find resolution this year.

this show is a joke ! stupid boring and not funny. why with the, all ways , low rating this crap isn’t thrown off the air is a mystery!

Low ratings? It gets higher ratings then The Office…. Anyway, I haven’t been loving this season so far, but when I read the title “Slapsgiving 2″ I got goose bumps so I think that’s a good sign.
