5. Come to think of it, can’t we just do away with the opening and closing monologues?

In a perfect world, we’d also be doing away with the character of Meredith Grey altogether.

Agreed, get rid of Mer AND Der both and I’d be happy. Her maternity leave episodes should be refreshing.

CC Says:

Meredith can make it annoying, but I like the open/close monologues because it raps of the “moral of the story” at the end of the episode. It gives you something to think about and I think it’s good writing.
But thats just me =)

I’m a sucker for the sappy. I love the monologues in Grey’s just as much as I loved when Carrie was “writing” in SATC.
