SHOULD WIN: MICHAEL EMERSON
Whose morally ambiguous Benjamin Linus will go down in history as one of the small screen’s most entertaining (and devious) antiheroes.

WILL WIN: JOHN SLATTERY
Sadly, we have a feeling that Slattery’s suave and stylish Roger Sterling (Who recently left his wife for a woman half is age) is seen as quite the aspirational figure in Hollywood circles.

SNUBBED: MICHAEL HOGAN
On a ship full of Emmy-worthy candidates, Hogan’s frakktastic portrayal of Saul Tigh stands out. So much so that we shudder to think what he could have done with two eyes!

C’mon dude….you know those ancient voters are gonna give it to Shatner again. They wouldn’t know an Emmy-worth winner if he stole the mic and…well, you know the rest.

I’m hoping that since BOSTON LEGAL ended its run in December, aging Academy members don’t remember it. But of course you’re right, when I underestimate the stupidity of voters, I do so at my own peril.

Mad Men season 2 wasn’t as good as season 1 so I’m really fearing another silver platter of emmys for the show again. If anyone should be honored from the show it’s not the men, it’s the women.

So yeah, Emerson should win but I’m not that concerned because I’m predicting an Emmy sweep for season 6 of LOST.

I really hope Michael takes it home this year. I haven’t seen a lot of the other shows nominated, but I just can’t imagine a better potrayal of a character than Michael’s Ben.

Michael Emerson is overdue already, I hope he finally wins. But I guess William Hurt will win because he is a veteran and he came from a well-acted show Damages.
