Rather, Variety is reporting that HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER star and serial-award show host Neil Patrick Harris (see: this year’s Tonys, TV Land and Writers Guild Awards) is in advanced talks to suit up (read: host) the 61st Annual Emmy Awards this September 20, 2009 on CBS.
