You Saved FUTURAMA! What’s Next?

With today’s exciting FUTURAMA news courtesy of Michael Ausiello that has Comedy Central ordering 26 new episodes of the Matt Groening and David X. Cohen animated series based partially on your, yes YOUR, insatiable appetite for the series on DVD, this TV Addict thought we’d take this opportunity to ask the obvious question: What show should we the people focus our purchasing power on next?

Naturally, this TV Addict’s vote goes for EVERWOOD (which coincidentally enough, finally makes its way to DVD this Tuesday June 16) But we’d also be cool with ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and/or FIREFLY. Thoughts?

FIREFLY!!! An Arrested Development movie is already being made and I think it ’s time Serenity had a sequel.

I’m one of those fans that still has hope for a Veronica Mars or Gilmore Girls movie. I know they’ll never happen but I still have hope!

FIREFLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just finished watching the series on Hulu; haven’t gotten to see Serenity yet, but I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked Futurama while it was on, but the “movies” have been a bit much…

I say save Pushing Daisies. Other than that, I agree with Gilmore Girls.

How about Deadwood? I still can’t believe they dropped that in favor of John from Cinncinati (which was unbearable, by the way)! Best show ever, bring it back!!

Ok, I changed my mind. I want more LIFE. They should move it to USA and have it be with their lineup of Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, etc. It really fits with that group.
