The TV Addict 

Quick observations: None of the girls on MP impress me, except KCassidy. And both of the vampire boys are long-in-the-tooth. Very poor casting on VD. I actually like the cast of Beautiful Life…a LOT.

Since it’s being reported that Vampires will inhabit Thur. 8pm, with Smallville sliding to Fri. 8pm, I’ll echo the prevailing comment: Why is The CW wasting the post-Smallville slot on a weekly rerun of Top Model, instead of getting into the “real” network game with something original, like Reaper, Privileged, Body Politic or The Game—-all more viable and attractive options than a tired old reality repeat of something that aired two days earlier.

Melrose Place again…ok..ay?

And those two guys not only ARE much older than the actress in VD but they look a lot older too. Agreed Nick. Poor casting.

I’d rather get my obsession on with Vampire Diaries. I tend to get obsessed with shows that end up pis***g me off at the endings where i have to wait a whole week to see what happens next. Smallville, Supernatural, Dollhouse, & Gossip Girl. Whoa! I think I need to lay off tv for a while. lol

I’m really going to miss Privileged . I agree with Niki, they better not be trying to pass Ian and Paul off as 16 year-olds b/c that is ridiculous. They look at least 10 years older than the main girl. Skeezey.

The casting for VD is actually the only reason I’ll give the show a chance I’m a big Degrassi fan though lol And I love Ian S.

I will give all these shows a chance for sure but I don’t know if any of them will stick.

So as a long time fan of the VD series, I can tell you they only got it right with Ian. First off, both vamps were turned during Renaissance Italy. They are ITALIAN. And Elena is supposed to be blond with green eyes.

Melrose Place :meh: It looks like an interesting cast fofr Beautiful Life but there’s only so many teen dramas I can fit in my life and since GG is doing it right, I’m not going to add any more subpar ones. I liked original 90210 so I gave this one a try but I was never a huge Melrose Place fan so ….

I will give VD’s and a BL a chance…but i’m not expecting too much. Especially since GG this season has been so disappointing and 90210 is not as good as it could have been.
