Chad [Michael Murray] and Hilarie [Burton] officially leave ONE TREE HILL. How will we make it through each week without Murray’s crinkled face, pursed lips, and declaration of love for someone? It’s pretty bad/sad when your acting actually makes Annie on 90210 look like an Emmy winner.

Nice work tvaddict. You were the first person to break the news to me. Although I disagree about the Annie thing because I think she is the worst actress I’ve ever seen and that includes any high school play to ever exist. This news actually makes me really happy. I think the show will be better without them. Brooke and Julian last night where on fire. I’d watch a show just about the two of them.

Like I said at Ausiello’s site, woohoo!!! I might actually begin watching One Tree Hill again. I haven’t watched at all this season because the show turned pretty sucky, but it can only go up with the departure of these two (especially CMM).

I’ve always said that Sophia Bush makes this show. She is the one that makes it worth watching. They may as well make her the main star of it next season.

And, of course, who EVER will they find to read those incredibly cheesy literary references at the start of so many episodes? “Ann Rice once said….this show bites.”

I’ll miss Brooke and Peyton’s friendship but I’ve never gotten the obsession with CMM or any of his WB/CW characters.

I’m also thrilled that Julian is going to be a regular. Love him and Brooke.
