Ace Says:

What I really don’t get is that NBC pours lots of money into developing 2 great scripted shows and then throws them into the busiest time slots during the WHOLE week (with the arguable exception of the 8-10 slot on Thursday). I mean, what kind of numbers do they really expect? But then, what do they give us for 2 hours on Tuesday (aka the desolate wasteland of TV worth watching–except Fringe)? Biggest Loser. WTF?? It is like they just throw all of their TV shows into a hat and pull them out to determine their time slot.

Nick Says:

Sadly, Ace, everyone is afraid to throw anything up against American Idol.

But I’m with ya, regarding the reality crap. The only people who watch Biggest Loser…are Big Losers, themselves.

I’m giving 90210 another try tonight, since it looks like a Liam-centric episode. But man, the overhaul better continue.

Ace Says:

And that is a valid fear in the Spring, but nothing stopped them from showing it then during the fall on Tues.!

Just Jody Says:

Another question… Why is Heroes a shoe in for renewal (or already renewed?) with 6.3 and bad word of mouth, but Chuck is in danger with 6.1 and great wom??

Irish Joe Says:

Jody, it’s probably because Heroes is much bigger internationally, and bigger with downloads and sales and merchandise etc…

However if Heroes continues it’s downward spiral next season, then NBC may not jump on renewing it as quick as they did this time… however they are cutting a lot of the production staff… dunno if that is a good or a bad thing!?
