First Look Video: GLEE

What do you get when you combine the twisted and brilliant mind of Ryan Murphy (NIP/TUCK, POPULAR) with the — for lack of better word — awesomeness, that are Jane Lynch (BEST IN SHOW), Jayma Mays (UGLY BETTY, HEROES), Jessalyn Gilsig (NIP/TUCK) and Matthew Morrison (Broadway’s HAIRSPRAY)? A gleeful TV Addict who cannot wait for GLEE, Murphy’s one-hour musical comedy that follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school’s Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of them all: Nationals.

As much as this seems to resemble a funny rip-off of high school musical, my inner gay man compels me to watch because of Matthew Morrison (cause who doesn’t love some original Hairspray cast)
