I watched the first episode this evening, though I hadn’t heard about it and regret that I missed about the first 1/2 hour…

I really enjoyed it, though I did expect Ian McShane to peel the wallpaper with expletives which he did not. I am hoping that there is an earlier timeslot or that like Deadwood, I can catch it on the weekends.

In regards to Deadwood, despite the “salty” language, I found the dialogue almost Shakespearean.

I’d watch anything McShane was in, the c**ksucker! He was great in Deadwood, as was the rest of the cast. He elevated swearing to an art form. I wish they would make another season of Deadwood – and I’m not the only one!

I’m really curious about Kings. Besides, I would tune in to watch Ian McShane sleep. Hopefully Kings will be better than that though
