Yes i meant the scenes at the bar where everyone was acting drunk and overly happy. Very fake indeed.

Linda B, If you mean the scenes at the bar and that stupid song that Derek would have written for her, then I wholeheartedly agree with you 100%; If you mean the scenes between Addison and Bailey and Callie, then I disagree. I really enjoyed the way that these friendships seemed to pick up exactly where they left off e.g. Bailey being THERE without question and Callie turning the situation around to talk about herself.

I felt the whole 'Addison w/ her best friends' thing felt so fake and forced. It was almost embarressing to watch.

The thing about the big Grey's Anatomy/Private Practive cross over (non) event is that it does nothing more but highlight the weaknesses of both shows, along with the fact that Addison Montgomery was a much better fit at Seattle Grace. The two hours would have made one compelling hour of television without Izzy, George, the competing interns - and the weekly violet-on-the-verge of a nervous breakdown moments. And I find it very telling that the friendships between Addison and her peeps at the SG feel more organic and believable than those with her Oceanside colleagues, including Naomi who is apparently her best friend of all time.
