TVaddict, you aren’t the only one who has thought about this a lot. My head is about to go all explodey with the constant stream of thoughts I have had about BSG. My co-worker and I have speculated nearly hourly all week long about what the hell Kara is, and is Baltar back to being Head Science Geek #1 instead of Head Zealot #1? Is his head Six gone for good? What are the implications from the webisodes and Gaeta? Will he go all Falling Down on Galactica? How are we supposed to care about Hoshi when he is just a plot device to :insert gay character here: after all this time?

Unless I see something beyond the final Cylon being “it” for the purpose of the angst of one other character, I remain completely underwhelmed. I don’t care enough about this person. Zac Adama would have been brilliant and added so many more implications, complexity and questions. I could be wrong. The final could turn out to be the most excellent choice, but at this point I am still very meh about the whole thing.

All in all though, I am on board for the remaining frakking ride. This show owns me like no other except for 24, Jack Bauer and Tony Almeida.

While my initial reaction to the final Cylon was definitely underwhelming. I’ve found that this week, the more I’ve thought about it, and sadly, I’ve thought about it a lot… the more it has excited me. The implications, the complexity, and all the questions… I’m loving it.

And as for Leoben’s reaction to Starbuck. Wow! I can’t wait to see where this is going.

If Leoben is too freaked out about Kara, what does this mean? Pretty dark things, I imagine. What is she? Why is she the harbinger of death? The final Cylon reveal left me seriously underwhelmed. But Starbuck’s destiny/fate is keeping me hooked.

I just wanted to say, you know my rant about how I hate the commercials for the DTV switch? Well apparently the Senate is trying to pass a bill to move the date for the switch back b/c 6.5 million people still aren’t ready. America’s procrastination has gotten us in trouble yet again . Where is Obama when you reeeally need him? Does this mean more commercials??
