Stick with it (and all it's dated clothing). The quality of <i>everything</i> gets better. You should get <i>Angel</i> as well. It's strange; that show should NOT have worked... and yet it did, sometimes better than <i>Buffy</i> ever could. It's also great to watch <i>Buffy</i> season four alongside <i>Angel</i> season one, as many episodes connect. Season one really is just a warm up, to get you introduced to the characters. I paid a lot more for that. :/ Rewatching Buffy a few months ago, I realized just how cheeeeeesy the first season was. But get through it and the crappy special effects (it's only like 13 episodes) so you can get to season two. Season two and three, still as epic as ten years ago. Eeesh. I paid a lot more for that. :/
