With People Magazine reporting that Kevin McKidd has officially been promoted to a GREY’S ANATOMY series regular, this TV Addict wanted to take a moment to ask the inevitable and slightly obvious McQuestion. What’s his McNickname going to be? McArmy? McJourneyman? McRome? McReplacement? Or our personal favorite McNewKidd? Post away with your McIdeas.

Personally, I don’t want a “Mc” nickname for him. He needs to be different and unique from the rest of the other male characters. He needs to be just Major Hunt or Dr. Hunt, imo. Dr. Preston Burke, Cristina’s ex, never had a Mc name and that set him apart.

Does the name have to rhyme with McDreamy and McSteamy though? Because the only other word I can think of is creamy…I don’t think McCreamy is good. Maybe we should drop the “Mc” altogether since his real last name is McKidd. I just call him Army Doctor (I know its lame).
