The TV Addict Has Officially Arrived!

September 5th, 2008

Good News: After being quoted in a televised ad touring Tuesday’s premiere of J.J. Abrams highly anticipated new series FRINGE, theTVaddict.com has officially ‘made it’. Bad News: If this keeps up, this TV Addict might have to trade in his DVR and start watching [gasp!] commercials again.

And on a somewhat out of character note, please indulge me while I put aside TV for a second and get a little personal for a moment. Serious thanks to everyone who has ever visited, read and commented on theTVaddict.com. A web site is only as good as its readers and your increasingly frequent participation has only motivated me to work harder.

In addition, special thanks to regular readers Tim G and Aleks for putting a smile on this TV Addict’s face this morning by pointing out the above FRINGE trailer that aired during Wednesday’s season premiere of BONES and GlobalTV360 for graciously providing me with the above video.

Congrats! I saw that while watching Bones and completely glossed over who they were attributing quotes to. Bad me. I am really excited about Fringe starting. I forgot it was getting such an early start date since the other show I am most excited for (Pushing Daisies) is getting such a late start. I need to put together a schedule…oh wait, you have one up already.

Very, very cool. Though the obsessive editor in me should point out that “Must-See” should be hyphenated. Still, having a grammatically incorrect quote on a national ad for a hot new show is damn cool.

Also, does this mean “officially” is going to become the TVAddict’s version of Grey’s Anatomy’s “Seriously”?
