Pamela Says:

Peter is my favorite hero.

Chad Says:

For me, it’s got to be Claire. She’s quite good looking, and her power is just plain cool.

Heather Says:

I think my favorite hero is Peter, because he’s struggling with so many powers and the desire to effect positive change. Despite being so naive, he is earnest in his attempts. I’d have to say my second favorite is Claude and I miss having his interactions with Peter.

rocky Says:

Peter Peter Peter
shirtless scenes in season 2 were yammi
also he is a good guy … a little credulous though … but if he is in full control over his powers he is the most powerful hero there is

chrispian Says:

Favorite character? Good question. Tough question! How to pick just one? I really like HRG. But I also like Peter, Hero, Sylar, Mohinder and even Nicki. I don’t much care for any of the kids on the show and hope we see less of them, or use them better somehow.

If I was picking based on powers and good/evil then Peter is my favorite. He can do pretty much anything and he’s got a lot of room to grow. Lots of potential to go either way as a good guy/bad guy.

But, I think my favorite all around character may be HRG. He’s got no powers but he’s powerful. He’s scary and willing to do whatever it takes to protect his family and do what he thinks is right which doesn’t always work well for others around him. He’s been part of the HEROES universe long before the new generation of heroes has emerged and he knows things that could probably help or hurt our heroes and I’m sure we’ll see him use his terrible knowledge for both. So, final answer, HRG.

Emaline Says:

I’ve always been partial to the entire Petrelli clan myself, including illegitimate love child Claire!

sonyalennium Says:

Hiro is my favorite - he has the spirit of a superhero, even if his character is still growing in confidence and belief in himself.

brian Says:

my favorite hero is hiro, because he reacts to his powers in the way that i would react if i had powers..and i can identify with him the most….and his power is just plain cool.

Amy Says:

I think my favorite character would be HRG. He is very mysterious and one week you think he’s good and then the next, you’re not so sure.

bws Says:

Favorite “Hero” instead of favorite “superpower” makes the question a little more interesting, actually. My favorite hero is Hiro! His superpower, unfortunately, gives us so many paradoxes. But the spirit of Hiro, the comic relief and goofiness, is my favorite element of the entire show and stands in sharp contract the delicious evil of Sylar and others.

Jonah Says:

Hiro, wouldn’t it be awesome to go back in time to fix a mistake?

Simon Says:

My favourite hero is Claire. She was amazing in season one with her experiments and her ways of testing herself.

My favourite Claire scene is in season one when she ‘dies’ and wakes up in the middle of her autopsy…that’s when I fell in love with Heroes.

Alyssa Says:

My favorite hero is Peter. He’s got a great power, a great heart, and, I believe, he’s the key to saving the world.

Dan Says:

Elle. She was a hero in the end, so she counts, right? But I might only like her because it’s Kristen Bell.

Maria Says:

Hiro!!! Seriously, c’mon. He’s hilarious.

Chris Says:

Matt Parkman. He’s the less-murderous but super-powered version of Noah Bennet. (HRG). His “Molly Walker” b-story had the themes of adoption and fierce family loyalty that reminded me of Superman and the more successful elements of Claire’s story-lines. Plus Matt’s powers seem to grow naturally and expand, as opposed to the “revelations” of Claire’s toe growing back or Maya can stop the black eye ooze if she tries real hard. Also the whole psychic duel between Matt and his Father was one of the few great moments of Heroes Volume 2. His power rocks because I’d love to tell the world what to do.

Plus he’s chunky and the writers haven’t made him the comic relief.

Alyssa Says:

Ditto to what Dan said! I love Kristen Bell so Elle is my favorite. I also love Sylar and his ability to absorb the others’ powers.

jess Says:

Even though i never win these things. i gotta say its PETER he has the coolest power it reminds of Rogue’s power but he is able to still touch people and once he has a power he keeps is permenantly. So he is potentially the strongest HERO. GO Peter! Not to mention the hottest.;).

Mel Says:

Definitely Hiro! He’s adorable and has an exuberance and enthusiasm about his powers that most of the others lack.

Frank Says:

I’d have to go with Hiro for several reasons.

He’s the most naive to everything going on around him. He’s very innocent, and quite child-like. Which in turn makes him moral, wanting to do the right thing… he wants to save the world. He wants to be in love.

He’s also an everyman. I think this is why he’s alot of people’s favorites. Many people who watch the show can easily identify with him.

Nelson Says:

I might be alone on this one, but I always liked Isaac Mendez. Probably because I’ve always liked people with artistic abilities….so to have that actually be a power too, pretty cool. Though I do love all the other characters/powers as well. It’s hard to pick a TRUE favorite.

Kelly Says:

Being a HUGE Veronica Mars fan i have to say Elle … but other than her I would pick HRG.

Wakey Says:

Its a tough question, especially after season 2 where I thought both claire and hiro who stood out in season 1 become a little self obsessed and boring. Peter would be pretty cool but he has the superman complex that means his power is just too powerful and reduces the impact he could have..

TBH I find myself liking the characters that haven’t had long stints more such as Elle and Claude. This probably has something to do with their lack of air time leaves a mysterious element to their character where as the more established and popular charachters get over exposed (Its the same with lost where I have really grown to hate Sawyer and Locke and absolute deteste Kate and Jack)

Peter Petrelli. Not only does he have the ability to mimic the others powers and therefore become the most powerful. He must constantly struggle with the control and sideissues of the powers. He’s truly a testament to that with great powers, a great responsiblity follows.

Mana Says:

Nathan Petrelli… I find him sympathetic.

hanncoll Says:

You can’t beat Hiro; he’s the Everyman and adorable to boot.

Josh Emerson Says:

Does it have to be a hero or can we choose any character? Cause my favorite is HRG. But if I had to choose a hero, it’d be Hiro. He’s the most fun to watch. Or Elle, since she’s played by Kristen Bell and I’m biased.

PS, I should win this since I’m one of the few fans that didn’t hate Season 2 and defended it. :p

Sarah Says:

It’s a tough call, but I’ve gotta go with Peter. I think his character leaves room for fascinating growth and internal struggle as his abilities develop — and he just gets to kick ass and take names to boot. I’m also in love with Milo Ventimiglia. ;)

SimplyKimberly Says:

Noah “HRG” Bennett. He has nary a power and is the single biggest badass on the show.

Golwar Says:

Well it’s really a combat between titans - Hiro or Peter.
Peter is simply classic with his inner struggles and omnipotent ability, maybe too classic.
But Hiro … well he is simply incredibly entertaining, both by his character as by his storyline.

So my hero is Hiro, while Peter and Elle and Matt are within sight.

blueberry Says:

Unfortunately, after the disastrous second season, I am inclined to reply that NO HEROES are my heroes; but for the sake of this contest I will tell you my least hated heroe: Machine-talking Micah.

Since every other hero was given a chance to defeat/stop Sylar and failed to do so, I can only give Micah the props, but just barely.

ewanspotter Says:

Hiro. He knows that waffles are the way to our hearts.

Maggie Says:

Hiro is my favorite hero! I love when he has a look of pure joy on his face, and his relationship with Ando. He has such a sense of responsibility but it’s not too earnest or overplayed. I just love him.

Megan Says:

My favorite hero is Elle. She apears to be evil and sadistic, but you know there is definetly more to her story than we know yet. Hopefully we will find out this season.

In Cali Says:

My favorite hero is the TV Addict. Plain and simple.

Marisa Says:

My vote if for Future Hiro!! Kicking ass and taking names.

The subway scene with Peter in season 1 set the tone of the whole show for me.

I always look foward to seeing Future Hiro!!!

Adam R. Says:

Hiro… he started out so naive and is only now starting to grow up.

Cris Says:

My favorite hero is Hiro! i just love the whole pack. At the same time he can be naive, get super excited and scream YA-TAA!, he can get all sweet, hurt, be very smart, kick some serious ass, be an awesome friend, he can fall in love in the sweetest of ways. I just think he is a hero that everyone will always root for. Never a dull moment when he is around.

zero Says:

Elle of course. She has an amazing ability and an interesting past. Doesn’t hurt that Kristen Bell is gorgeous and an incredible actress.

Jocelyn Says:

Peter Petrelli. His ability is by far the best - and it answers the age-old question “If you could have one super-power, what would you choose?”. Imagine having the power to absorb other powers! Peter as a Hero is a force to be reckoned with, and, let’s not overlook his character, full of integrity. And no, it’s not “just because he’s hot”. Though that doesn’t hurt, I guess?!

Kimberly Says:

I always had a soft spot for Mohinder, dumb as he can be!

Andrew Says:

It’s a tough choice picking a favorite. But I am going with Peter. He’s got a good heart which in the end is what always makes a good hero.

Liz Says:

Parkman is my favorite hero because he’s an everyman.

Alvin Ng Says:

Hiro is the best (despite unfortunate feudal Japan storyline). He’s fun, got awesome powers, and is a really loyal friend.

eddie Says:

My favorite hero is Claire because she is hot and has an amazing ability.

Kat Says:

Peter. He has the best power(s) and is the hottest.

nathan Says:

not even a contest!

elle.

she’s evil/good.

her power is awesome.

and kristen bell is amazing.

need i say more?

Anna Says:

Hiro, he’s a real, believable character. He wants to save people and he doesn’t shy away from the huge responsibility or protecting the world. He’s very innocent and naive, but he still understands how big of a gift he has.

Jenn Says:

Of all the Heroes past and present, Eden was my favorite. I wished we had gotten to see a little more about her past before she dies - her backstory seemed interesting, and also her motivation for joining the company.

Of the currently alive Heroes, Peter is my favorite. It’s an easy choice, but both his power and his personality are interesting. Plus, along with him you get his whole crazy family.

Jen Says:

Peter is my favorite hero. Why? Because he can absorb everyone else’s gifts, so therefore is the most powerful of all!

Tom Says:

My favorite hero is Hiro. He was the first to openly embrace & enjoy the fact that he had superpowers. His Season 2 storyline in old Japan fell flat, but throwing David Anders in that coffin was great closure!

T.J. Mannix Says:

Angela Petrelli. So much of her story has yet to be told. She seems like a two dimentional socialite at first. Sad, pathetic, clingy Mom. She may still be those things, but I can’t wait to find out what her powers are.

Nicholas Says:

Hiro, because he’s freaking adorable in that kid in a candy store way: naive, and yet brilliant intelligent.

And he has the most badass power ever.

Josh C. Says:

My favorite hero would have to be nikki. I know not many people like her but i dont think they understand how complicated of a character she can be. Nikki is a true hero. Not only does she have this crazy ability but she is also a mother who was taking care of her child by herself, recently lost her husband to a gun shot and then died……atleast a part of her did. It takes alot of strength to do go thorugh something like that. On top of the fact that her dual personality nearly killed her. Show me a hero that went through all that and i’ll admit defeat until then…..realize the power of nikki!

Pat Matczak Says:

Matt; he brings humor to the series.

Stef Says:

Peter… because Milo is one of the hottest actors around. Yeah, I am shallow!

alicia Says:

Here’s another chance for you two win season 2 on DVD!

Pat Says:

Peter… because I *still* miss Jess (and Gilmore Girls)…

Jordan Says:

My favorite hero’s Peter, who’s a nice guy and gets to collect everyone’s power.

yessenia Says:

my favorite hero is superman haha but from heroes my favorite is peter petrelli-even his name is awesome. i just LOVE his superpower i mean he can like absorb other people’s powers, that is amazing!! and he is also super hot so he’s the perfect superhero : )

Jefferson Says:

Kristen Bell. Do I need more of a reason?

Roy Says:

I’m going to have to go with Peter, just because… How cool would it be to be able to have so many powers? He doesn’t have to kill anyone to get them like Sylar does. He just soaks them up! Uber-cool!

BrandonC Says:

I would love to get this.
